WAOK 1380 is a commercial radio broadcaster in Atlanta, Georgia. The channel serves the audience of entire Atlanta metropolitan area on the frequency of 1380 kHz on the AM dial. Apart from analog transmission, the station is also available digitally through HD Radio, HD3 as well as on the internet. You can also find the broadcaster by the brand “News & Talk 1380, WAOK” above its slogan “The Voice of the Community.” The station carries Urban Talk format and targets the African American community.
The ownership license of the station belongs to Entercom which also co-owns its sibling stations WSTR, WZGC, and WVEE.
