KQRS 92.5 is an American radio broadcaster that is licensed to Golden Valley, Minnesota. The serving area of the station comprises the boundaries of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Commercially, the station is called “92 KQRS” and marketed with the slogan “Minnesota’s Classic Rock (main)” and “One Great Classic After Another.” Cumulus Media monitors all the business activities for the broadcaster. The sister stations of KQRS 92.5 which are KXXR, WWWM, WLUP, and WGVX, also work under the ownership of same parent company.
The first programming of the broadcaster went on-air on 1st September 1962 with the callsign KEVE-FM. In October of 1963, the broadcaster again changed to moniker to KADM. The current callsign adopted on 1st December 1964. The station started offering podcast service from May of 2005. The ownership rights of the broadcaster were moved to Cumulus Media on 16th September 2011. Currently, the success of the radio can be determined by the large number of its worldwide audience.
