KMUZ 88.5 is an organizational radio broadcaster licensed to Turner, Oregon. The channel serves the audience of Salem, Oregon on the frequency of 88.5 MHz on the FM dial. The journey of the station was started in October of 2007 when Salem Folklore Community requested for a new broadcaster. These assets of the approved radio were purchased by Willamette Information, News, and Entertainment Service; the current owner of the channel, for $1 and the first broadcast of the station was aired in 2011. The operations of the broadcaster were paused by Federal Communications Commission on 5th September 2011 and then resumed back at normal on 17th December of the same year. A few years later, the channel launched its rebroadcaster on 24th January 2015.
