88.9 KXPR is a University media broadcaster that covers the boundaries of Sacramento, California. Its broadcasting programs are mostly related to classical format and can be heard locally by tuning to the frequency of 88.9 MHz on FM bands as well as HD radio. Two repeaters KXJS and KXSR assist the channel by airing across the areas of Sutter and Groveland on 88.7 MHz and Groveland on 91.7 MHz to reach a broader audience. 50,000 of ERP is required to carry out its regular programming to serve domestic and international listeners.
